Dayanna Peek, also known as Day, is a third-year international studies and public relations student at the University of Florida. 

 

Peek is one of the founders of the Lavender LLC, UF’s first gender-neutral housing option, and the New Day Scholarship, a $500 scholarship for Black queer femmes.

 

In their free time, Peek enjoys being a techno and house DJ, working on freelance photography projects and being a fashion stylist.
